Weird Things

This isn't what I set out to Blip today.

I was up in Edinburgh, and decided I'd go down to the Botanic Gardens and take pictures of the Titan Arum. Fortunately I'd missed the first day of flowering, when the smell was horrific. It is a very weird thing, and there's no disputing that it is very, very big. My effort is the extra.

The weather all day had been swinging from sunshine to heavy rain and back. As I got near home the hills were draped in great swathes of mist. At Leaderfoot, I stopped and took some pictures. I've given it a chrome filter, which makes it look a bit wild and stormy.  Let's hope I'm not tempting fate.
