SUNDAY LUNCH

Family get-together at Mum's to say farewell to little sister Annie who's going back to Texas until February. Hers is the forearm on the right of the photo. As usual she did us a wonderful spread - though we all helped of course. When she gets home she has three weeks to arrange her daughter's wedding and cater for 150 people, including making the cake. She's not fazed by any of it. I'd be gibbering in a corner.

(By the way, the daughter getting married is the one whose husband tragically died two years ago. She's found love again through her daughter being at school with and in the same sports team as her fiancé's daughter, and everything looks as though it's going to turn out for the best for both families.)
