Day 30

Taken at 5.13 am, somewhere over The Channel as the sun was rising. A beautiful glow.

We took off at 23.45pm Singapore time, arriving back in London at 5.50am. A very special send off at Changi, as El came to wave us off.

A thirteen hour flight. It is seemingly BAs second longest journey. A380 airbus again. No upgrade this time, but we were upstairs at the back, and there is probably a bit more room than standard economy. There is also side storage under the window.

I watched "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel".

A short transfer at Heathrow, however I did manage to fit in a quick stop at the Duty Free perfume store. What a busy place T5 is at 6.30 am.

A full shuttle up to Glasgow, arriving on time at 8.40 am. Off at the rear, down the steps to 14C, and a bit of blue sky. Quite a temperature change, fleeces on. Back to reality.
