After dropping L off at Little Villagers I headed north to Aberdeen for two meetings before heading south west to a wee place called Tarland which is near Aboyne.

After that meeting I noticed I was only about 25 miles from Braemar and as I have a new site there I thought I'd surprise the site team by turning up unannounced which always goes down well.

I then headed back down the road driving through Glenshee stopping at the Ski Centre.

Sitting just behind is Scotland's easiest Munro to climb called Carn Aosda as you start so high above sea level.

I did this (and it's two neighbours) a few years ago. It took about half an hour to summit the top.
