New lens!

I bought this today. It's the Canon 16-35 f/2.8L II USM. There was a $300 instant rebate on it, so it was even less expensive than I expected. Excellent! It is replacing the Tamron 17-50 f/2.8, which is not so sharp and is not for full-frame sensors.

This Canon lens is compatible with full-frame sensors. And, boy, is it wide. I can't wait to see what I can get with it.
