MY MAN

To Perth today by train to support the Professor as he retired after seven years voluntary work as President of the YMCA in Scotland. Somehow, in spite of having done nothing at all, I was given this lovely bunch of flowers. Met some mutual friends and then discovered some people from my own distant past, which was quite creepy.

GOOD THINGS:
Train ride to Perth - Scotland has never looked better than it did today.
Charming, kind people
The Professor - it's always lovely to hear people talk so affectionately about this man I love and admire so much. Everyone sees how wonderful he is - expect the Professor, of course.
