I was up early and felt much better than yesterday. With heavy rain forecast for 10 o’clock I decided to wander up onto Loughrigg while it was dry.

Not to the summit but a loop taking in Lily Tarn which isn’t as photogenic without it’s tree. I had to keep to the paths because of the height of the bracken. It’s just starting to change to autumn colours.

Home and some ironing followed by soup making, taking extra care chopping the veg after Monday’s mishap.

A schoolboygirl error with the camera this morning. I’m not saying what. Only realised when I was putting it back in my rucksack.
