Sunshine

We celebrated dad's 83rd birthday today. About12 friends gathered at the care home - it was a big surprise for him! The care home staff are fab and helped in every way they could. They made a birthday cake for him on the day of his birthday (Thursday) and they all sang happy birthday. Today we had sandwiches and another birthday cake and more singing. It was a double celebration as Mr Mags stepmum's birthday is soon too. We stopped for a walk at Loch Lomond on the way home and we met 2 beautiful golden retriever puppies- one was looking for a good home.........we were sorely tempted!! Wifi is cooking a meal for us tonight........a lovely end to a lovely day .........and the sun shone too!
