The waterfall.

Today we went exploring heading for Durness. The drive through the highlands is always on my list of things to do while I am here. We skirted the beautiful Loch Shin on our way via Lacford Bridge on the West coast. Then on to Durness where we stopped for a bite to eat . We then turned off at Hope and followed Loch Hope as far as it runs. This beautiful waterfall was on this road. Then we headed for Lairg , Bonner Bridge, Ardgay and home. Quite a long day but worth it!

Supper was again another gastronomic delight with monkfish, fresh fruit compote in home made prosecco jelly and cheese.

Then we played charades! The old games are always the best!
