A beautiful day in the Scottish Borders, so out with the bike.

This is John, my mate from work, who decided at the age of fifty this year to buy his first ever bicycle. We just did a wee 12 mile stretch, which for a novice is quite long enough.

From there to the Trading Post Bookshop in St Boswells, for a superb cheese scone and 1st class coffee.
