Someone has lost theirs

I have managed to find a quantity of seaglass marbles in my combings and here they are above.

The large one at the back is the best one according to this website as it is the largest and thus more rare.

They could have come from a careless child but I prefer another explanation I have read and which is much more romantic - that jars of them used to be used as ballast on sailing ships
