Cinema this afternoon for Dunkirk. 

Masterpiece of film-making, but horrific to see the scale of the suffering. Six cockling boats from Leigh were involved in the evacuation and only five came back. Renown hit a mine and her crew of four were killed.

Endeavour was one of the Leigh boats that did return - and she appears in the film, as do some of the guys who restored her.
