Spa Orchestra

We went out for an early morning walk near Scarborough this morning before we went to the Spa Orchestra for their morning concert. It was lovely- I have friends in the Orchestra and Katie's band teacher is the bassoonist so they were all really pleased to see her enjoying the concert so much.

We walked along the beach back to the car and she danced & cartwheeled in the sea. It was delightful. We met grandad and granny for a picnic. We had got nicely settled under a shady tree when it began to rain. The tree served us well until the rain began to get heavier. Much heavier! We moved the picnic to the car. We said goodbye to them and headed home. A quiet end to the afternoon for us- some practice, making soup together and a bit of DVD time. A nice day!
