Hercules

Reading a story about Hercules the bear.

While filming for a Kleenex television commercial on Benbecula on 20 August 1980, Hercules managed to escape, going missing for 24 days.

A television crew covering the story for the news stayed at Great Grandma and Papa's house while he was on the loose.

This book tells the story of what happened - sort of... he didn't actually come back of his own accord; he was shot from a helicopter with a sedative and airlifted back to his handlers in a cargo net.
