Volunteering

Like last month today's task was to remove HImalayan balsam. Some of it is now flowering so we had to be extra careful removing any with seedheads and these were disposed of in an enclosed bag. The areas we did last time had some plants, still, but generally we were able to clear some new areas.
Mr Rat also came along and brought a kayak so he could clear (several bucket loads) of rubbish that was in the pond but out of reach.
