Maple, mimosa and more

Today the temperature in Chinon is around 28 centigrade. Trees offer welcome shade as well as beauty. Here, tall maples line up to create a cool avenue (and I love their camouflage-style patterned bark), mimosa is in magnificent full bloom, while more flowers pop up everywhere - from cracks in walls and pavements to parched flower beds and scrubland. I love nature's resilience and adaptabilty.
