Taking the Strain

The new sofa bed eventually made its final ascent to its new ubication. Carlos came back with a team of two men and two boys who he had recruited for their muscles from his local gym! I end up as the unlikely fifth man lending what strength I could to the rope pulling duties....three of us were upstairs, one on the side staircase and one underneath the heavy beast...and, believe me, it was heavy! Now it's in place and a couple of shelves are going up around it along with some silicon-ing work in the bathroom, pillar plastering work on the balcony and light switch redirection work in the new front bedroom.
