Strathburn

On me bike this morning and believe it or not this murky little pool is the local starting point of a stream that has given its name to an area near where I live including a school and a large area of sports fields. I do not suppose Strathpuddle would have sounded as good.

Saying that in the winter when the water is tumbling down from the hills this little stream can turn in quite a torrent.

Bit of a Jeckle and Hyde sort of stream if there is such a thing.
