KernowJam

Work all day then a meet up at the Cornwall Services with MrRoly and Smallest to visit Kernowjam. It is a bit muddy but the 3 elder offspring seemed pleased to see us briefly before they headed off in their outfits for tonight's Space disco!

MrRoly headed off to Bristol and I took the Boy's Scout Leader to Lidl for food shopping as her car is stuck in the mud! I nearly ended up taking the girls' Guide leader too for the same reason but she was making cunning plans to get another friend to take her tomorrow!

Smallest had a lovely time playing with the Scout Leader's 2 year old daughter, apparently he would now like a little brother or sister! He was desperate to go to the disco too but as we at the top of a big muddy hill, I said no. He is now counting down the days until KernowJam 2021 when he will be a Scout and able to go!!!

Daft outfits aside, I am so proud of these 3 for getting stuck in and enjoying themselves, embracing the brilliant opportunity. I am biased as I went on an international jamboree in Austria when I was 14, but these big Scout & Guide events are a superb experience. I certainly have many very happy memories from my trip and Eldest was telling me she had butterflies of excitement as we got close on Saturday.

ETA I just backblipped yesterday's blip and it seems I have reached 7 years worth of blips! Shame it is a spectacularly poor blip - even today's is better. But then probably it is a fair representation of my journal ;-)
