Maxine

One of them family split days. One-to-one time. It was me and the youngest taking in the cinema and swimming followed by photos in the subway and a bit of brambling on the way home. She picked out 'the good ones' for me and I got in there amongst the nettles. Great company, great fun.

Current listening is a concept album about an imaginary trip to the home of the Pendle witches with actress Maxine Peake doing the vocals. Incredibly northern, although as I commented to someone yesterday she's clearly from the wrong side of The Pennines to this Yorkshire born-and-bred fortysomething. All the videos to the individual tracks seem to have vanished from the internet since I looked last week, but there is a 20 minute short film remaining. For now, at least.
