Weeee!

We abandoned plans to go to the county park this morning as the kids were insisting on having the paddling pool out instead. We made the most of the nice warm sunshine with the water slide. We've never used it before but the children absolutely loved it!

This afternoon we went to the park for a picnic. The children made friends with some of the other children there and were happy running around for over an hour. I sat in the sun and took it easy for a change. We then went to the library and got clue number 2 in the reading challenge.A nice relaxed sunny summer holiday day, just as it should be.
