A walk in the woods

Mono Monday.
Friday's exploratory hike got off to a bad start, with Sarah and I taking the wrong path after a few hundred yards.  Only by revisiting tonight did I suss out where we went wrong.
It is amazing how you can convince yourself that the map you are looking at is wrong and you're heading in the right direction.
I really should know better.
