We decided to surprise our friend Susanna by appearing on her favourite beach. Nearly backfired as it was so busy she was hard to find!
Fabulous to catch up and as if we saw each other yesterday and not seven years ago...
We carried on up the coast to find lunch - a very decent spaghetti vongole - before heading to another beach to surprise another friend. Not so lucky this time, even though it was nearly empty.
We found her daughter who explained she's ill in bed.
Bit of a shock to be honest.

Others arrive on Thursday and so we are hopeful that everyone can make the reunion dinner on Friday.

My blip was spotted at lunch. He must have been absolutely boiling, tough job walking up and down in 38 degrees all day.
