Ice Cream Weather

Surprisingly sunny today so we walked down to the boatyard on the beach for ice cream.
Always surprises me that they don't choose a cone.
Was a late start for us this morning as last night we let the girls play out in the field in the most competitive rounders match l've seen in a long time .
Mixed age sides from seven to fifty years in age : Kitty being the youngest but holding her own!
Poor light stopped play at 9.50pm, so it was quickly to bed without a shower.
Not sure their mum would have let them stay out so late but hey, that's the joy of being a grandparent!

Internet very intermittent again so will be commenting as and when l can.
