Moth...

.. I know.
I have (spent far too long) been looking up an ID but to no avail.
I'm sure it must be there in plain sight.
This situation reminds me of that domestic situation (which surely must happen to us all?) where we say something along the lines of, 'please, whilst you're in there (whatever room) would you bring me a tin of beans/green scarf/safety pin/tube of toothpaste/large shovel/gun' (I'm in different rooms here obviously?)...
To be told, often after a fairly patient wait, 'there wasn't a one of those there. So I brought this instead...'.

I keep thinking I should take some different (other than macro) shots.
I often do.
However I'm so regularly more thrilled by the detail in macro. And also, the more you look at life in the hedgerow, the more it can appear to mirror our own; the posturing, the stand-offs, even (almost?) the body language and expressions.
I suppose I should get out more?

So here's a moth that wasn't in the moth book.

(Would you like a jar of preserved lemons instead?).
