Dunstan Mountain Range
Yay, my camera was handed in to the local Police Station, I collected it this morning. It is so good to have it back.
Today the walking group drove to Shortcut Road, and we walked down the true right of the Clutha River. We were out of the wind, so was a lovely walk. As we were walking this mountain range stood out with the sun shining on it, just like a beacon. We stopped for lunch, then headed back to the local cafe for a welcome cuppa. When we came out of the cafe it was bucketing down with rain. We were so lucky not to get wet, while walking along the track. Extra 1 is of a couple of walkers walking through the pine trees in the sun. (We did just over 12,000 steps, i.e. 9.3 k's.) The DIG group topic for next month is 'Machinery Parts,' I took this photo before the sun disappeared. Extra 2.
