Pancakes for breakfast?

Blueberry ones at that.. They were good!

We had a big breakfast after a late night, lots of talking and a fair bit of wine.
The kids had gone to bed late but actually, disappeared up there and went to sleep pretty quickly, so there was no hassle, and they managed to get up without disturbing us too much this morning, so we weren't up at the crack of dawn at least (Well other than Little One moaning her tummy hurt at 6.30am. Bah.)

A quick stomp around the woods at Brown's Folly and our lovely visitors have headed off.. we must catch up with them again soon. Sooner than 3 years this time!!

I'm baking a cake to turn into trifle and making a pea salad before we go round to another friend's for more birthday celebrations this evening.

We called in at the shop to get olive oil on the way home and I couldn't resist buying some sausages for our lunch - my poor battered body needs sustenance - two late nights, not enough sleep and lots of vin blanc are starting to take their toll - I MUST be in bed before 1am tonight!
