Abundance

Yesterday the priest told us we'd been invited to lunch, along with him, at the sacristan and her husband's house. Duly turned up, only to find that it wasn't lunch, it was dinner - but they insisted we all go in and have lunch with them anyway - and what a lunch it was...

Then, a few hours later, back for dinner, along with another family - a barbecue on the patio, with this view of the castle. And what a dinner it was... 

One thing's for sure - the Alentejanos know how to eat - and talk - and be hospitable to strangers - we are blessed.
