Not For Wimps !

A serious set of ancient steps, in Helmsley. They lead down to to a stream. Quiet today but often deeper and faster.

On the other side of the stream is a gate. No bridge over the stream. Too wide to jump across.

A useful shortcut perhaps but not for wimps.
