The Farmer

Drove around in the evening to shoot some landscapes, but not much luck with the sun. Almost the only sunny moments were when I stopped at Yrjölä berry farm for an ice cream. I was lucky see Tommi, the farmer, and shoot his portrait as he was heading to the fields to fetch the last boxes of berries with his moped. Yes, he soon came back with four boxes on his arm!

The ice cream was great, actually even better than before. In addition to the strawberry and raspberry flavours made from their own berries they now have also vanilla, made from the milk from a farm downhill from them. That's truly local produce!
