National Portrait Gallery

Wandered into town with the intention of checking out the 'Adamson and Hill' exhibition. It is very interesting, well worth a look if you're into photography (which I'm kind of guessing you are, blippers) They took many of the photos as studies for Hill's paintings... some really beautiful photographs of Edinburgh, Newhaven and fascinating people. Loved 'Edinburgh Ale' and a nude of Dr Bell...
I also had a look at 'Black Burns' and 'The Slave's Lament' which is thought provoking too.
