long day

The start of a train ride across Germany.

The 14.23 from Trier to Koblenz. Then a train to Nürnberg. Train 3 was to Ingolstadt. I arrived at 10pm.

Phew...

Comfortable and pleasant compared to the UK, and enough time for food between trains.

The first few hours were through the Mosel & Rhine valleys, so fascinating. Then it got flat & boring. Then it got dark.
