Red Hot

After our church service this morning, we had a bit of a birthday bash for our minister, Gordon, who has reached a special birthday with a six in it!  He and Karen, his wife also have their Pearl Anniversary around this time, so we thought it appropriate to give them a treat, a voucher for a holiday for the two of them.  They were quite overwhelmed, as Gordon in particular had no idea of our plans.   It was a very happy event.  Unfortunately I forgot to take my camera to record it for Blip!

Pottering for the rest of the day......weather is fine, not too hot, but dry although a bit cloudy at times.  Typical summer weather.
