The morning after the climb....
Yesterday back blipped with an amazing view from the top of Snowdon :)
Last night we all celebrated with a vino or two and walked around like we were on our last legs which we were! I had set my mind on being up early and home at a reasonable hour so I set my alarm at 530am and I was home for 830.
The drive was amazing - heading east in time for the sunrise was very distracting and I wish there were more places to pull over to take photos. I snapped this from a layby on the A55 and ran for my car when another car pulled up by me. As I drove past Ellesmere Port the early morning mist was breathtakingly beautiful.
I had a shocking night's sleep. The bones by my knees were aching so much that the pain woke me up at 1, 3 and 4 - it was like growing pains! I have lots to do today which may be put off till tomorrow and the planned night out may well be postponed - I am pooped! I have no idea how people do the three peaks challenge within 24 hours - I bow down to anyone that has completed it :)
Home to the boys and I had a very excited welcoming committee as I walked through the door - Casper is currently walking round the house as proud as punch with my sports bra in his mouth it no doubt smells deliciously of sweat!
Happy Saturday folks - enjoy that sun!
