Norrie's Cake

Through to Rhu for MrQ's 70th birthday. An honour to be invited. After all he's a big wig - theatre director, radio station boss, hotelier... but words failed him when he came to address the throng, and to thank his family. He quite broke down with emotion. We cheered and stamped anyway, and helped ourselves to more of his runny cheese.
After a few hours of polite chatter we made our getaway. What downpours on the motorway; meanwhile Hearts were ignominiously exiting the league cup. Jeesus, the boy Cathro needs a rocket.
Later, Gay Britannia - Against the Law, which was quite excellent. And more cheese - the famous blue cheese frittata. I just hope I won't have nightmares. Nothing involving Hearts, then.
