But, then again . . . . .

The Peacock.

Driving back to Roslin from Wrexham is pretty boring, so after a sleep-deprived week-end I was fairly desperate to find some mild amusement to lift my mood. It appeared on the back of a pick-up truck owned by a garden designer in the form of a wrought-iron peacock. I forget which service station harboured this curiosity whose sole purpose is to prompt the pub trivia question, “What colour eggs does a peacock lay?” and its close relative, “What was the highest mountain in the world before Everest was discovered?”

It seems that there is to be a Blip meet at the Edinburgh Botanics East Gate on Saturday the 12th of August at 10:00 a.m.
