Today was the birthday celebration of S, which he holds in his garden every year. Unlike last year when it rained, this year we had cloudless skies. When we started this annual party custom the adults would have brought their children with them. Things have changed of course over the years, children have flown the nest or simply have other things to do with their time on a sunny Saturday. Where once there were children now there are ever more pet dogs (one such, Pipo, is an extra).
