Busy Saturday

....catching up with work and tidying up the garden.   Also signed upon for another year with the OU - I'll be studying Art History as of September.

Popped out at 5pm to pick up some beer and take a few photos at Hailes Castle - also stopped to snap one of the many local doocots on the way home (see extra).    Did a little more research on the structure at Balgone Barns and it turns out too be a c17th or early c18th windmill.  Some sites record it as having been converted to a dovecot but the historical records site notes no evidence of pigeon lofts.    I've been cycling and driving past this for years and learnt something new today.
