Small copper

Despite a mostly dull, drizzly day at the nature reserve it was great to see quite a few small coppers, including this form, caeruleopunctata, with the row of blue spots on the hindwings. It's actually quite common, but not always noticed. I think it gives this smart little butterfly a bit of extra style.
