Portie swimming

Early start to collect the wacker plate to sort out the foundations to the patio ready for the slabs coming on Monday. HSS didn’t have the unit I ordered, didn’t arrive yesterday apparently, so I had to take the heaver unit. J and I only just managed to get it out of the car. Got it in the garden and tried to start it. Wouldn’t start and after a few pulls the starting cord snapped. Took it back and they didn’t have another one available. Ahhhh. Still tried out my new angle grinder cutting up some of the old slabs. Managed to get slabs laid where the old steps were and the capping stones on the new wall. Cut some more slabs for the path before the rain started after lunch. Went down to Portie so J could have a swim along with Kilda. She had a great time on the beach. Back home for a quiet night in.
