Day 145: Space Pen

Warmer patterns and patina in large.

Another "What can I macro and flash?" blip...
I use this pen for crosswords; its pressurised cartridge (originally developed for space flight) means that it can continue writing even when inclined upwards, so you can do crosswords lying down...
Where other stationery is defeated, this pen is mightier than the [inclined cros]sword?

It is brass barrelled, and has developed a rather fine patina.
