Amazing 11th Century Buddha #RLS Day 28

After two solid days of major project supervision, toke a day trip to Paris as a treat. Spied this amazing bronze Buddha from Nepal in the Musee du Quai Branley Jacques Chirac, which specialises in the art of indigenous cultures. There was a stunning special exhibition of pounamu (aka greenstone or NZ jade), but that proved very hard to photograph well.

Tomorrow: the long journey home! My time in France is nearly over.
