Reservoir

A very nice field indeed on the little road to Rosebery Reservoir. That's the little road off the long drag straight one with all the humps and blind summits, you know the one...

Didn't bother setting the alarm, just woke up when I woke up, but still got out by 9 for 40 miles of The Good Stuff on the bike. Not sure how it happened, and I've got a geography background so I *should* know, but how, with a mainly circular route out in the countryside, can there be a constant headwind? Unless of course the wind was changing direction all the time as I rode just to mess with me (?) Is that even possible?
