Signs of Fall

... pumpkins and squash. We're beginning to ready the farm stand. BJ hasn't been impressed with our harvest this year, perhaps the weeks of rain-drought-rain contributed to a small yield. We do have some nice looking squash, and there are a few large pumpkins ready.

The sweet corn fed the racoons and porcupines - gee, I hope they enjoyed it! We harvested 4 ears of corn out of our entire crop. On a brighter note, we can cut and bundle the stalks for sale in the stand.

Before weeks end we should be up and running... lets hope for nice weather to bring out the leaf peepers.
