Altered Images

Well, this is my hobby. I've been making cards for the past six or seven years, I think. Started off by my friend Sally, and it helps with the occasional panic attack - one of my distraction techniques. Seriously, I can go and sit at my desk and lose hours at a time.

Sometimes, like tonight, it's quite difficult to find inspiration - and of course it's harder to make cards for men (particularly teenagers who haven't spoken a full sentence to you in years so you don't even know what they're into any more!). I like to personalise my cards - to think of who I'm making it for, and what would they like? Colour? Subject? Style? I like to think I'm near the mark a lot of the time, though sometimes I look at the finished product and think, "Really???"

I'm ambivalent about this one ;-)
