Cracking good!

This afternoon my granddaughter and I started to bake her birthday cake for her 6th birthday party on Sunday. She wanted a chocolate cake. This recipe called for six eggs. We actually used seven because one of them ended up on the floor. All in all Moira was very good at cracking eggs. Not a single piece of shell was in the batter! The best part was licking the batter and sticking her finger in the bowl getting every last bit of that chocolate cleaned up. Tomorrow we get to decorate the cake.
