Au revoir, Angleterre!

We were up at the first sparrow's fart this morning to catch the Brittany Car Ferry from Plymouth to Roscoff. The sea was quite choppy, but modern ferries are so much more stable and comfortable than they were years ago, and I didn't spot anyone hanging over the sides of the boat! Drove for a couple of hours as far as Rennes, where we're overnighting en route to the Loire valley.

Glad to leave rain and gales behind us and enjoy some soleil-shine! My Extra shows the weather we left in our wake, but as it's Flower Friday, I'm sharing this photo of Rennes.
