Alternative market place

As the Joensuu market square is closed for renovation, the food stalls and other stalls have moved to the pedestrian routes next to it. A reporter of a local newspaper prefers the current temporary setup as the stalls and terraces are next to each other, creating a more intimate atmosphere compared to the previous large asphalt space where the stalls were often spread out far from each others. I must say I agree with his opinion. Apparently the plan for the new market square has taken this into consideration. I hope it carries on to the final result.
