While we've been away the Himalayan Balsam has really taken over. For much of its length you can't see the millstream as it's so overgrown. The bees like it though.
This weekend there is a Pirate event at the mill, there are notices all around and people living close by have had leaflets warning that there will be gunfire, including a small cannon!
