Flower Friday 28

This lovely bright grevillea is finally starting to bloom, this bit was poking through the fence which was stopping it blowing in the wind!

Cold, windy and raining, winter is here.....again! : o)

In the extra's is a lovely shot of our resident pair of black swans. They have a nest on the island which due to all the rain is unfortunately flooded. They have continued to stack lots of branches on top of the nest but I think it's finally become too much for them as the water has continued to rise. I think they're now in the process of looking for a new location to call home and Mother has the baby on her back aww it's so sweet to see. They're very industrious so I'm sure they'll find another spot!
